Consultation on the Principles, methodologies and guidelines for the determination of interconnection rates

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission is in receipt of a submission from ECTEL containing ECTEL’s PRINCIPLES, METHODOLOGIES AND GUIDELINES FOR THE DETERMINATION OF INTERCONNECTION RATES for its Member States.

  1. The initial comments period was set for 28th July 2016 to 24th August 2016, however it was extended to 5th September 2016
  2. The Comment on Comments period will now run from Wednesday 7th September 2016 to Tuesday 20th September 2016.
  3. The comments provided to this consultation should be supported with the supporting rationale and required evidences.
  4. Following the Reply Comments period, ECTEL’s Directorate will revise and make a final determination on the Principles, methodologies and guidelines for the determination of interconnection rates in the ECTEL Member States.

Noting the interest expressed, and considering requests received thus far during this consultation, ECTEL has decided that the deadline for submission of reply comments be extended to Friday 23rd September, 2016 to allow interested parties more time to submit their responses to the comments on the consultation document.

The period for reply comments will now run from Wednesday 7 th September 2016 to Friday 23rd September 2016.

Any party that has already submitted comments may choose to re-submit or amend their comments and submit by the new deadline of Friday 23rd September, 2016.
